I drive by Car Dealerships and wonder where is the sales traffic. I was in the Car Business for 17 years and the crippled economy forced me out just in time. It was easy for Salesman to earn a six figure income selling cars but times have changed. There used to be times where Dealerships would have 20 to 25 sales reps to handle all the overflow of sales traffic but not any more.

It seems as if it is harder for sales to be made because of the pressure on the sales person to make the sale. They are thinking to themselves, who knows when I'll have the chance to get another up. It shows the desperate tactics on the sales person and the sale ends up going sour. Right before I got out I wondered also where the sales traffic went. Is it gone.

Instead of figuring out where is the sales traffic, I decided to get out before it got real ugly.

I needed to find something I could do that would accommodate my abilities to sell. I also needed something that I didn't have to worry about where the sales traffic is. I did some extensive research on the sales aspect of selling and found out the answer was on the internet. I found a home business that was in the Direct Selling Industry that would replace and more than likely exceed my current income.

What I had stumbled across was almost to good to be true. I found that I could start this business with little start up, no overhead expenses, no inventory, no rent, no insurances, no payroll, and no liabilities. On top of all that, replace my current income in a few years and maybe a few short months, depending on how fast I wanted to start.

Where is the sales traffic? It is on the internet and you better get in if you want you and your family to survive in sales.

After weeks of due diligence I narrowed my choices down to three companies. Two of the companies were telling the same story and the other one just gave the information.

All three were in the direct selling arena in which that's what I realized I wanted to be in because of the income potential. I could do the same amount of work as MLM but make 10 times the income. The right home based business was correctly insight through these companies.

Although the same business models, the two didn't care who joined, it seemed as if they just wanted the sale. When the other model wanted to give the information after you went through the process. Qualifying making sure you were going to be serious and not curious. I did like the fact that I had to qualify to become a part of this group. Less saturation I later found out.

When I got accepted to join and then really seen what my potential was, it was hard to sleep that night. I got started with this company because even after they had my money, they didn't turn their back on me like others. The resources available to learn all the methods to have the right home based business to correctly earn a lucrative income to work from home was definitely in sight for me.

After learning the proper methods to work from home on the internet on my first sale I made a thousand dollar commission. I was so excited because in the 8 months with MLM I only made about $200, and after you factor in my auto-ship, I lost money. After building a team, I also earned $30 per month residual on all my active members.

Fast forward 3 years later, I knew I had chosen the right home based business correctly because the other two companies were no longer in business. You see the other two only cared about the money instead of their members. This company understands the members are what makes a company, and once you create the members success, the company prevails as well.

This is a topic that most MLM Distributors get defensive about. The difference between the Direct Sales Home Based Business in 2012 and forever for the most part is, doing the same work and earning more on less sales.

Let's say an Affiliate or MLM Rep wanted to make an extra $1000.00 per month. I say it's typical to earn about $50.00 per sale on most sales in this market. So it would take about 20 sales to get to their goal.

I can speak about MLM because I use to be one. I came into an MLM huge health and wellness company and I got positioned at the highest level in which I spent thousands of dollars. I had to meet an auto-ship amount monthly in order to keep my position to earn 50% of commissions.

I could earn about $200 per sale if I sold it as a package and that was the highest package that could be sold. The prospects only were interested in individual products in which I would earn small commissions. I'm talking in the teens to twenties on commissions. So it would take alot of sales to make the same $1000.00 per month.

That went on for 8 months longer than it should have and I had enough. I went back online and did a little more research on the Direct Sales Home Based Businesses in which I learned the terminology later.

I got started about a month later after the final due diligence was done. After I learned the process I made a $1000.00 commission on my first sale and $30.00 per month in residual income on one sale. When that happened to me, a whole new way of life opened up to me.
